While the world of technology is constantly changing, the concept of design remains relatively the same. Design, for the most part, is simply based on de-constructing what is already in existence and re-constructing something new.

In the case of Graphic Design we are trying to "Communicate" a message through graphic and visual means, in a creative manner and within the confines of the medium. The graphic and visual aspects represent the typography and imagery while the medium represents the source that carries it - ie: Magazine, TV, Billboard, Internet.
